Toddlers and preschoolers can learn to match up the pictures when they are called.
Cut out the calling cards and mix them up in a bag, a box, or even an Easter basket!
It’s best to use some sort of place marker instead of marking off the squares with a pen. That way you can reuse the boards multiple times rather than printing out a bunch of them.
You can use pennies or other coins. Then whoever wins the most games gets to keep them!
Buttons are another option, or you can just cut up some small squares or circles.
Use Cheerios for young kids who might try to eat them.
And since there are only 24 pictures, each board will have every picture.

You just have to worry about your child being upset if they didn’t win. My 4 year old is notorious for throwing a fit if she doesn’t win.
But the game moves faster this way, and you can keep playing over and over with different results. Especially if you swap game boards with other players.
You can play this game all through March and April.
