Westgate Superbook Mobile App

SuperBook is the mobile betting extension of the famed Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas. With a wealth of experience and a trusted brand name, SuperBook has hit the ground running as a mobile sportsbook operated by industry veterans known for sharp lines and high-quality customer service. SuperBook uses a mobile app for Westgate, but this information might not represent what SuperBook will launch in Colorado. The Westgate app is the bare minimum of what people would expect.

  • The Westgate Superbook Nevada is one of the most eagerly anticipated sports betting apps to come into the market in the state. What makes the Westgate Superbook one of the most popular platforms historically is that it is an independently operated sportsbook, meaning that the odds you’ll get with this platform are unique to it.

[toc]The Las Vegas SuperBook at the Westgate is held in the highest esteem of any sports book in Las Vegas.

After all, this is the “World’s Largest Race and Sports Book.” The physical sports book just completed a beautiful makeover but that’s only half the reason that the it’s so revered.

The point spreads and odds created by the staff at the Westgate are among the fairest you’ll find anywhere in the Nevada sports betting market and that’s what really matters to a sports bettor.

Let’s welcome the Westgate SuperBook to the sports betting app world.

Best point spreads and odds

The point spreads and odds are what separates the Westgate SuperBook app from the competition in the sports wagering app market.

The betting menu at Westgate not only offers more sports to wager on but there are also more wagers available in many of those sports. This is an industry best and should not be taken lightly by any serious sports bettor.

You can place the following wagers with the SuperBook app:

  • Straight wagers
  • Parlays
  • Round robin
  • Teasers
  • Futures
  • Props
  • In-play

Using the SuperBook app

The SuperBook app operates on Miomni software which is also used in the sports wagering apps for Boyd Gaming (B-Connected Sports), Treasure Island and Wynn. The functionality of using the SuperBook app has the good and bad qualities of the other Miomni sports wagering apps.

The Miomni software is quick, responsive and easy to use. Navigating through the different sports, games and wagering options in the app isn’t a problem. However, if your eyes are bothered by a light colored font on a black background, you might have issues looking at the app for long periods of time.

Since the SuperBook app uses Miomni software you will have to turn off your wifi to look inside the app. You don’t need to open an account at Westgate before viewing the sports wagering menu on the SuperBook app, so anyone in Nevada can view the sports wagering menu with the SuperBook app.

However, you must be in Nevada to use the SuperBook app. The app won’t accept wagers outside of state lines.

All sports wagering apps offer the convenience of not having to walk to a sports book desk to place a wager but this is specifically important for the SuperBook.

This app will become extremely handy as a way to avoid the masses of people who descend on the sports book for major events like the Super Bowl and March Madness. This year there were reports of 60-120 minute lines to place a wager before the Big Game.

The SuperBook app is only available for iOS and Android devices.

The world’s largest sportsbook, the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas, is doubling down by expanding to its first market outside of the Silver State.

Beginning as soon as the current coronavirus casino closures allow, the Superbook will start offering both onsite and online / mobile sports betting in Colorado.

The expansion was made possible by a recently announced partnership with The Lodge Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado, along with The Lodge parent company Jacobs Entertainment.

Colorado’s newly legalized sports betting industry was authorized by the state Legislature last May, and voters narrowly approved an associated ballot measure last November.

And even as other jurisdictions have delayed their own legal sports betting launches, the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission (LGCC) has stated its intention to go live with online / mobile wagering by its scheduled launch date of May 1.

The Westgate SuperBook – formerly known as the Las Vegas Hilton SuperBook – is the largest race and sports betting facility in the world at 30,000 square feet. The venue is also home to the world’s largest indoor video wall, a 240 foot by 20 foot monument to live sports action.

And while his new SuperBook branded bet shop won’t be nearly as expansive, JJ Garcia – who serves as vice president of operations for The Lodge & Gilpin Casinos – is excited to bring a worldwide favorite for bettors to the Centennial State.

In a jointly issued press release, Garcia praised SuperBook vice president of operations Jay Kornegay as the perfect partner for The Lodge:

“Having Jay Kornegay lead this exciting opportunity is an added benefit Colorado fans are sure to appreciate.”

Kornegay pledged to bring the SuperBook’s industry leading oddsmaking expertise and technological innovations to the Colorado market:

“We believe The Lodge is a perfect fit for our initial expansion opportunities outside Las Vegas.

We have maintained the highest levels of technology and service in a highly-regulated industry.

We have written the playbook on sports betting in the United States, and now we will put it in action in Colorado.”

Kornegay knows the local appetite for legal sports betting firsthand, having grown up in Denver and Colorado Springs, before graduating from Colorado State University in 1987.

In an interview with SportsHandle, the longtime Denver Broncos fan and renowned bookmaker explained why his home state was the first pick for the SuperBook’s eventual national expansion:

“It’s something we’ve been working on for a while.

SuperBook is not looking to operate in every state, just the jurisdictions that make financial sense. The Colorado deal, we’ve been working on it for months.

Things got tripped up over the last couple of months because of other things in our world, but we’ve come to an agreement.”

As Kornegay alluded to, sportsbooks nationwide have been forced to adjust their online / mobile offerings (where available) in response to the coronavirus pandemic’s suspension of the worldwide sports schedule.

Colorado Bettors Can Look Forward to Their Own NFL Supercontest

Along with its record-setting venue within the Westgate, the SuperBook is best known for running the famed NFL SuperContest.

For an entry fee of $1,500, pro football handicappers compete over the course of the NFL season by picking games against the spread (ATS). The top 100 finishers from a field of thousands receive prize money, with last year’s winner Eric Kahane cashing in for the first place payout of over $1.4 million.

Kornegay has confirmed plans to offer a similarly structured SuperContest across Colorado via the SuperBook’s planned online / mobile app.

The casinos operating in Colorado are in remote areas, unlike Nevada and the Strip. They are mountain towns, so the remote signup option Coloradans have for mobile apps is vital. To have that convenience of signing up for a mobile app from your couch rather than go to a physical location like you do in Nevada is big. Most of our handle (in Colorado), 95 percent will be mobile.

Kornegay also told SportsHandle that, given Colorado’s cluster of casinos in three mountain towns, the SuperBook at The Lodge expects most of its handle to originate from online / mobile wagering:

“The casinos operating in Colorado are in remote areas, unlike Nevada and the Strip.

They are mountain towns, so the remote signup option Coloradans have for mobile apps is vital.
